"Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny." Tryon Edwards |
KT's experience as a teacher, counsellor and mother of two led her to a career in life coaching. She now specialises in building confidence and motivation, and through this helps her clients break down the barriers that have prevented them from realising their dreams in the past. KT's winning technique is an infectious enthusiasm and a genuine belief that everyone has it in them to achieve their dreams.

KT trained as a teacher at University of London Goldsmiths College and has done Performance Coach Training & Life Coaching with Newcastle College. Additionally, she has trained with Results Coaching Systems in London as a Life Coach. This company was developed by David Rock who is an avid entrepreneur with a passion for human potential. KT shares that passion.
KT Bruce is a qualified Dyslexia Therapist and Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (A.M.B.D.A). She trained as a teacher at Goldsmiths College London in the early 70’s and began her teaching career in 1973 with a class of 43 eight year olds at a Primary school in Surrey.
KT became interested in children who found reading difficult and built up a programme to enable them to break down the barriers which were stopping them achieving. She wrote a reading scheme called Blue Box with a group of other writers for Longmans.
She decided to train as a Dyslexic therapist in the 90’s and was diagnosed as dyslexic herself. Her son was diagnosed a few years later at the age of 8. She has found that being dyslexic helps a great deal when teaching children with dyslexia because she knows how they are feeling and can empathise with their frustrations. It is like running just to keep up but there are compensations, such as being very musical, artistic or often good on the sports’ field.
My philosophy is “I CAN” and my favourite word
is “YES”.
My strengths are:
• I motivate children who have low self esteem
• I build confidence
• My enthusiasm for teaching is infectious and children love their lessons
• My children go on to do well in exams and have good careers where
they achieve to a high level
In 1996 I was asked to give a talk on Dyslexia and my methods of motivation
and teaching to a Conference on Dyslexia in Hertfordshire and since then I
have spoken in Kent, Surrey, London and Leeds.
Many companies are aware that stress is one of the major causes of people taking time off work. To combat this they are providing the opportunity for employees to have access in the work-place to stress-reducing treatments such as Indian Head Massage.
K.T. is currently working with an Oxford business to help people to relax
and unwind. The benefits are measurable.
Massage is the most natural way to de-stress the human body.
K.T. trained in Bromley as an Indian Head Masseur (IIHHT); Thai Foot Masseur
at the London School of Thai Massage; and as a Reiki Healer with a Reiki Master,
and holds level 2. She will be gaining her Master’s this year.
